a week in hong kong
- by mishalisha
10 things about my trip to Hong Kong - Macau
1. Hong Kong is filled with mainlanders. they are loud, obnoxious and rude.
2. chow tofu is only available in Mong Kok. Any perfume is no match to chow tofu.
3. the Hong Kies do take effort to look good. *drool at guys in suits*
4. Hong Kies are mostly meat-eaters.
5. milk tea - a must before bedtime.
6. Cantonese for take-away is “ling chao”
7. the convenience of public transportation. (if only our LRT are as efficient as the MTR)
8. I’m a Japanese to the Hong Kies; I’m a Hong Kie to the Japanese.
9. it’s good to standout among others.
10. NEVER EVER TEMPERED WITH THE SECURITY STICKER ON YOUR BAGGAGE!!!
hectic

my life for the past weeks have been, really hectic. aside from the long-hours-stressful job I have, last week was somewhat eventful.
last Thursday, I was invited by cousin KN to catch indicinelive - Episode One at KLPac and it was AWESOME!!!

strictly for matured audience only.
the next day wasn’t a good day for me. my concentration gone out of the radar. made some mistakes at work, gave a terrible impression to my colleague. there goes my future as a consultant.

joined the guys for drinks after work and what happened thereafter, I’ll keep it to myself.

lesson learned: never go barefooted.
won free tickets from Churp Churp to catch the premiere of When In Rome at Cineplex Damansara last Monday. a romedy about a successful and very much single art curator who is pursued back to New York by, not 1 but 5 aggressive suitors whose coins she took from the “fountain of love” while attending her younger sister’s wedding in Rome.
overall, was a good movie. I like Josh Duhamel better in Las Vegas and Transformers.

p/s: going for a short vacation next week. cant wait!!!
