right, like you didnt plan all these…
- by mishalisha
i was told to get ready by 2pm yesterday. Gen wouldn’t say a word what was the plan like for the entire day. i quietly obliged, although i took a little more; trying clothes after clothes, and finally, decided to go with the black spaghetti dress i got from Nichii’s. hey, you cant rush perfection!

Gen took the usual route, somehow, i knew where we were going. i bugged him throughout the journey. he wouldnt tell. he just smiled and said “just enjoy your day“.
we ended up at the curve (i was almost right, my pick was either 1 Utama or mutiara damansara area). Gen suggested to have kenny roger’s for lunch but i wanted to have sushi, and because it was my day, Gen gave in.
then, “Terminator Salvation” at cineplex damansara. it was a good movie, overall, but rather confusing. why does john connor refer kyle resse as his dad? why must john connor save kyle resse? =S i dont think i follow the 1st, 2nd and the third (or is this the 3rd?), so i’m not sure what’s the storyline is like. am not fan of terminator either.

oh, christian bale looking gorgeous in the movie..
*drool*
i didnt want to spend more time at the curve after the movie because, i know, i will surely spend on something, the things at the bazaar are just soooo captivating, temptation all over place. i told Gen i wanted to leave this place, he insisted we should stay. i sensed something…
and i was right. he made reservation at bavarian bierhaus for dinner. he knew, i’ve always wanted to give this a try, and what’s more meaningful to have it on a special day like yesterday! ![]()

i ordered tomato soup with seafood for starter. Gen didnt want any but ended up finishing 2/3 of it. Gen ordered crispy pork knuckle as the main dish for the both of us. the picture doesnt justify the portion, but it was really a meal for two.

so i thought, the day has ended. although it was short and simple, but it was really sweet of him to plan everything out just to make me happy. [Note: budget birthday celebration, both of us are broke atm] we were on our way back and he missed the turning to my place.
“you said you wanted to go up to look-out point earlier? we’re heading there now“, he said. the thing is i dont recall me saying anything like that to him, oh well, another birthday surprise i thought.

the place was pack like any other weekend but the view overlooking the brightly lighted kl city at night was just breathtaking. we occupied a table of 6 as there were no other smaller vacant tables. i wanted to leave after some time, as it was getting noisier and boring that it already is; if i recall correctly, there were music the last time i came here, but Gen insisted we should just enjoy the moment together. i started surfing facebook on my mobile phone when Gen excused himself to the gents and continuing doing so when he returned.
i was so engrossed in facebook, prolly that was the only form of “entertainment” i had at that moment, didn’t realised that some of the fnf members quietly walking towards our table, only to be surprised when they started to take their seats next to us!
so, this was the reason why Gen didnt want to leave.

went out with amd last sat. she goes to times square to run her errands while i went for haircut! i did’nt expect to be such a drastic change, but i’m satisfied with the overall look. now, i look like taylor momsen from gossip - her gothic look.
so yea, both we girls went shopping after that and “Night at the Museum 2″ with the guys at 1 Utama later on. Dinner and yakking session at William’s. Headed up to Genting for another round of yakking. Got home at 4 am in the morning.
super tired
got together for bakzhang the next day dinner. am not sure if i tasted gouki’s home made bakzhang but the one i had, no doubt it was good.

i know i should be in bed by now, but i just couldnt help myself thinking of what just happened. got me thinking a little about this, about everything else. question is why now? why wasnt it any sooner?
should i commit to this? or should i just let it go?

on unrelated note, if only i have the extras for manicure & pedicure…

—edit—
The Nail Parlour, seems like this place offers good service, but like any other good beauty salon, it comes with a price… >_< ugh...

few days back, i received a miss call from this unknown number. you see, i have this tendency to either call or message back their purpose of the call and this is what i get.

sat next to this malay lady in the bus one morning. she was reading this book, caught a glimpse of the book title that says “Gaza“. couldn’t be bothered, i shut my eyes, hoping the 1 hour-ish journey to the monorail station would pass in a jiff. somewhere along the highway, i sensed something wasn’t right with this lady, seems like she was having motion sickness, or something. when i opened my eyes, i suppose, she got so emotional reading whatever she was reading, she started sobbing and then wiping her tears off. i wasn’t sure if anyone was looking at her.
stunned. horrified. what is wrong with this lady? she must be crazy or something!
o.O!
i continue my “nap”, only to be waken up later by this lady. she was about to get off the bus, she turned to me, say something and hand me the book.
O.o!
i was startled. it happened so sudden and out of no where, i couldnt catch what was she saying.
freaky…

it was just after lunch. my colleague and i were walking, under the hot sun, back to the office. we take cover under the shade while waiting for the traffic light to turn green. noticed this guy was sleeping on the grass, his face was covered against the hot-bright sunlight. note, this is something you see quite often, we thought he could be one of those construction workers who’s taking a break from the hard labour, like usual, we joked about it.
me: oh, there’s a dead body!
colleague: call the cops!
and all of a sudden, a man came running towards the guy, i overheard him saying “ambulance is on their way“
O.o
o.O
O.O
we should not have said anything if we knew that guy got knocked down by the motorcyclist.

was in the middle of my workout, noticed an ambulance at the entrance. wondering what had happened, kaypohed with my personal trainer. he wasn’t sure what was going on as well, he went to kaypohed with the receptionist. apparently, some guy went into seizure, fell and hurt himself while he was on the cardio machine.
freaky…

went to Times Square on Saturday to collect my hair dryer, like finally. the same old-stinking attitude of the customer service attendant. Gen warned me not to “find fault” with them; let bygones be bygones. i would not ever purchase any electronic stuff from best denki!

then, we went to purchase Angels & Demons movie tickets. saw this brightly lited restaurant just opposite the cinema. thought of giving it a try, we then headed to Sek Hou.

they have plenty choices of food to choose from; western to fusion

colorful choice of desserts

o.O? if anyone would order this... =S

blueberry pearl milk tea, Gen's ice longan drink

tasteless hot and sour lai mian

Gen's cheese baked seafood spaghetti

spyshot of this couple seated across us; who did not speak a single word throughout their makan time!
and since we had plenty of time to spare, Gen headed to Lowyat Plaza to purchase (another) processor. yours truly hate walking under the sun, she stayed behind in Times square and does another round of damage to her purse - shopping @ Nichii’s. bought a spaghetti top and a dress. damage done: RM100.

Gen rushed back to Times Square, empty handed, so that we could catch the movie on time. he contemplated between the 2 processors he had in mind. once he had decided, we headed back to Lowyat Plaza after the movie to make his purchase.
felt a little hungry, we grabbed a bite @ Baoz in Lowyat Plaza which cost RM1.90 a piece, before made our way up to Level 3. Gen had black pepper chicken pao while i picked the BBQ chicken filling. nothing great about this overly priced paos.

we left Lowyat Plaza thereafter to Fei Poh’s chicken rice. again, nothing great about this overly priced chicken rice. would prefer the ones nearby Hotel Istana.

terminate your hunger with Domino’s!
that’s what i had for lunch yesterday - tuna sensation and spicy sausage pizzas by domino’s. the set meal comes also comes with their newly added item to the menu - BBQ chicken sticks, which is nothing great and a complementary coca cola glass.

domino's terminator meal 1
did nothing productive in between the time before dinner. laze around on a boring sunday afternoon. went to a vegetarian restaurant for dinner with family. total bill came up to RM55 for four dishes, somewhat expensive i would say.

clockwise from top left: mongolian chicken, stir fried yau mak, rainbow taufu and asam fish

oh, juanitha won? ugh.. >_<
