Treat any nasal or sinus infection that you have

Extracted from here.

“Cervical cancer is predominantly caused by certain types of a virus called Human Papillomavirus (HPV). HPV is a common virus that affects both females and males. There are more than 100 types of HPV that can affect different areas of the body. Most types are relatively harmless —like the ones that cause common warts on hands and feet. Some types of HPV can affect the genital area and can lead to cervical cancer, abnormal cervical cells, and genital warts.

Certain types of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) have been linked to precancers and cancers of the vagina, vulva, and anus, in addition to their association with cervical cancer.

Anyone who has any kind of sexual activity involving genital contact could get genital HPV. It is possible to get the virus without having intercourse. Because many people who have HPV may not show any signs or symptoms, they can transmit the virus without even knowing it.

HPV is highly contagious, so it’s possible to be exposed to the virus only once to get it. It is estimated that many people get HPV within their first 2 to 3 years of becoming sexually active. Two thirds of all people who have sexual contact with an infected partner will develop an HPV infection within 3 months, according to the WHO.

One of the many options to help prevent cervical cancer and/or HPV infection is to go for Vaccination with HPV vaccine.”

this vaccination comes in 3 jabs;
* 1st jab on the first month,
* 2nd jab - 3 months after
* 3rd jab - 6 months after the 2nd.

Each jab is about RM300-RM400 and you can easily get these jabs at any GP.

i’ve been planning to go for the jab since…ages ago! i’ve friends telling me to go for this, i’ve also read on the internet that this vaccination is able to prevent most common HPV strands that causes cervical cancer, although this vaccinatioan is rather new in the market. my family do not have history of anyone with cervical cancer, what the heck, prevention is better than cure.

until, at this point, when i came across these.

if a drug is meant to prevent certain kind of diseases, to improve our health, then, how do you answer to this?

in relation to this.

4 farking reasons why i’m so pissed now.

1. i’m sick. i can hardly breathe through my nose. the doctor wont prescribe me antibiotics.  on top of that, my bill came up to a total of RM30 for fever, throat and flu medicine.  that’s freakingly expensive!!! i’m planning to boycott this clinic, family doctor or not.

2. i have sent in my phillip hair dryer for waranty claim last nov, that’s 4 months ago. everytime i called them up for status, updates i get different answers, till a point, some malay dude told me it’ll be ready in a week time. that was 3 weeks ago?! where the fark is my hair dryer?! is it that long to get it fixed?! since it’s still new, why cant they replace me with a new one?!!

3. i’m not a fan of buying shoes online. 1 main reason is they dont usually have my size. somehow, when i saw these pair of lovely peep toe sandals, i decided to give it a try. i emailed the seller. she emphasize it is exactly the size from vincci, with the understanding, the shoe size = standard european size. i decided to purchase it. to my disappointment, i couldnt even fit into the shoes! what a waste!! mind you, it’s not that cheap! sent her emails, clarifying, what’s the next best step to take. i also emailed her pictures i took, comparison between the shoes i got from her with the shoes i usually purchase from vincci/nose. she even has the guts to say, i did not measure it right. when i asked for refund, she totally blew me off, saying it’s not possible.

let’s see, what happened in the past week.

nothing particular from monday to thursday. the usual routine; go work-back home-sleep

on friday, visited a friend who’s manning the booth for some event@ times square with gouki. met up with amd. dinner and a short drinking session with the guys right after.

went to 3k inn bazaar the next day with amd. gouki and bb dropped by, armed with their inexpensive snipers, bloggers in disguise, in hopes to get good shots of the girls the event. it was our very first visit to a bazaar and we were very disappointed. it was very much like a pasar malam, but in a small-enclosed hall. managed to get myself a white top, while amd got herself a dress and a halter.

disappointed with the earlier event, the girls decided to go for another round of shopping @ sunway pyramid. the guys, like any other perverted males decided to go for another round of “fishing”. yours trully pampered herself by getting a bag, a clutch, compact powder and lip gloss from MAC cosmetic.

met up again with the guys @ old town kopitiam for a drink. then, off to dinner at station 1 cafe @ jaya 1. the rest came to join us later. Gen as well.

and that sums up everything that happened for the past week.

i so need some excitement in life at times.

oh, happy 57th birthday, dad.
