this morning, a guy came stand next to me in the lift, look at me and said “wow, you’re tall. i just want to see how tall you are.”

o.O???

“good height. n no heels”

o.o???

and he got off 2 levels before me.

O.O!!!

it was raining heavily when i got up this morning. there i was, standing by the glass door, looking out at the gloomy sky,…if only today’s a public holiday or a weekend.

i feel extremely sleepy and lazy.

took my time to get ready, like always. took my time to the bus stand, like always. noticed this very odd-looking aunty, smoking. didn’t bother, i waited at the other end. turn my head to see the traffic, n i caught a glimpse of that aunty, spitting. ugh, disgusted. what an ugly site to see early in the morning.

then the bus came, got into the bus, found a seat and continue my journey to work, like always. somewhere along taman muda, someone tapped my shoulder, it was the same weird aunty at the bus stand. i didn’t realised she was in the same bus as i do till…then.

o.O

she asked me something in cantonese, which i have no idea, i just nodded. that was just it, i thought.

i know it’s going to be a loooong journey, so i took a nap right after. the lady tapped my shoulders again, at about 2 stops  before the last stop and told me in chinese “sister, get up. almost reaching”

O.o

shocked. blur. i just nodded, realized, the guy who sat next to me gave me a weird look. same goes to the guys who were seated opposite of me. i quickly got off the bus once i reached my stop, and i noticed her looking at me, from the the corner of my eyes.

a day to remember 

Gen and I went to watch Puteri Gunung Ledang in the afternoon at Istana Budaya. Since I missed the first and the second season, I told myself, I would not in a million years, miss this final season.

Purchase a relatively good seats, 2 rows behind the VIPs at a discounted price. All thanks to Jenny’s RHB credit card. (RHB card holders are entitled to 15% off)

Everything was just awesome! the performance, the pyrotechnic effects, the actors/actresses.

I love the musical every single bit. Gen thought it was so-so. May be he has nothing to compare this with, it was his first musical =)

If I’m given another chance to go watch, I will. Tickets all sold out for the encore performance this Saturday.

At least, now, I can tell people, I have watched one outstanding play by our local production. Malaysian entertainment industry isnt that bad afterall.

then, dinner at the gardens @ 1 utama. Gen ordered spaghetti marinara while I had the lamb shank. My ice honey lemon doesnt taste like one. It tasted more like ice honey, Gen ordered watermelon juice.

Food was great. Price came up to a total less than RM100, I think. For a restaurant with a nice ambiance, big portion of servings, I say it’s worth it.

We headed to the cinema after that. Valkyrie is one boring movie, if you asked me. Gen enjoyed the movie while I took a short nap in between. It was a movie on a group of people who tries to assisnate? Hitler.

Whatever it is, I enjoyed my Sunday, although it was one tiring day. If only I had taken leave on Monday…
